I had experienced the 12 Steps of Transition process in the beginning of Transition Town Lewes. Currently the Transition Network has redefined the process of establishing a Transition initiative to be found in the book, The Transition Companion, and in detail on the Transition Network website.

I surveyed these processes with a view of using them in the analysis phase to establish where my local communities were and to support local processes.
